Resilient Furniture was founded in 2002 by office furnishings veterans to fill the void left in the marketplace after Samsonite Commercial Furniture ceased operations. Drew Delametter is the managing partner who has several years experience in the industry and prior to starting Resilient served as President of Samsonite. The other partner is an industry veteran who launched and ran a large direct mail distribution outlet of office furnishings prior to selling his interests in that venture.

Resilient’s traditional market niche has been the party and event market and is one of the leading suppliers of folding chairs to the party rental channel. With a core strength in folding furniture, Resilient has also served the dealer and wholesaler channels with a variety of folding table and folding chair designs. In 2006, Resilient expanded into the hospitality market with several banquet chair designs and has recently expanded further into office seating. Resilient’s line of office seating provides exceptional quality at affordable prices delivering superior value to the marketplace.

Resilient’s customer base consists of local family owned dealers to multi-national distributors and almost every conceivable variation in between. With a focus on customer service, Resilient strives to provide each customer regardless of size as if they were their only customer.

In order to provide both the quality and cost components of the value equation, Resilient sources most of the products they provide from foreign sources. To ensure their quality standards are met on a consistent basis, Resilient maintains their own staff in China who manage the operations there. This staff currently consists of nine people, who specify, inspect and manage the flow of products. This direct involvement allows Resilient to bring products to market faster and also provide custom solutions to customers needs.
